Want It: JUXTAPOSED Religion Curated Bookshelf
Just brilliant. JUXTAPOSED: Religion is part of a forthcoming series of “curated shelves” by Mike and Maaike, and it just happens to tackle one of my favorite subjects. I like the idea of a storage device that is specialized for specific contents, even if those customizations are entirely artful and not particularly functional. The shapes and materials are chosen to evoke, not to perform.
Mike and Maaike are the designers behind several well-known products including the Xbox 360. This particular piece of awesome was designed for BlankBlank. It is available for purchase, but fetches a handsome $2500.
